Sensible

architecture

Giving space to our being.

Sustainable and sufficient construction has become increasingly important in recent years, whether for ecological or economic reasons.

The return to natural and intelligent building principles opens up space for fundamental changes in our building culture.

Human sensitivity, complexity, and depth are rarely addressed or even considered in the modern world. This makes it all the more important for projects to take a mindful, respectful, and holistic approach.

Approach

My work aims to find highly individual solutions for unique people that are sensual and sensible, high-quality yet simple concepts.

The goal is to create architecture that is not only functional and aesthetic, but also brings people and the environment into harmonious and healthy balance.

In doing so, I always refer to our centuries-old, tradition-rich building culture and question everything that is superficial and fast-paced.

Nevertheless, contemporary living comfort and modern requirements are made possible by efficient overall systems.

The top priorities are the respectful use of resources and the avoidance of harmful influences on people and nature. In concrete terms, this means understanding and knowledge of the fundamental principles of biology, physics, ecology, and psychology.

I choose ecological materials and constructions that are as simple and durable as possible—resilience and flexibility over trends. Natural cycles and reuse are taken into account in my work.

I design and plan with healthy materials and truly sustainable, proven principles. This makes constructions immediately very low in pollutants and eliminates the need for synthetic building materials.

An infrastructure with low-radiation installations and low-tech solutions takes into account the natural electrobiology of the users.

In addition, I integrate elements from other disciplines into my approach, including design theory, culture, music, and art—with the aim of creating spaces that correspond to people holistically and in depth.

The more I familiarized myself with the rational aspects of building, the more apparent the need for the spiritual and emotional in architecture became to me.

I want to enable building in harmony with fundamental principles of life and a return to natural beauty, for healthy living spaces with meaningful design language and organizing clarity.

The complexity of human beings can and should be addressed. We must allow people to find their counterpart in a building again and give space to their need for physical and mental well-being.

I see the design of living spaces as a basic human need and therefore consider building to be an essential and meaningful aspect of life.

In addition, I keep an eye on the complex value and cost-effectiveness of various options.

I am happy to support you in the wonderfully creative process of building, helping you to turn your individual wishes into reality.

Spaces are allowed to reflect what we need and who we are.
